Tanzschule Rueff

Dank dem Tanzlehrer Christian haben wir unseren Hochzeitstanz gelernt und am Hochzeitstag perfekt umgesetzt! Wir sind zwar Anfänger, aber Christian hat mit einer durchdachten Choreographie es so wirken lassen, als wären wir Profis. Seine lustige und gelassen Art hat uns auch sehr geholfen! Vielen Dank!

Carinissima attività da fare se si soggiorna a Vienna, un modo per riaccendere l’amore, farsi trascinare dal proprio partner tra un passo e l’altro di valzer viennese. Bravissima la nostra maestra e anche il nostro gruppo di compagni di ballo. Il posto ha anche un bar dove rifocillarsi dopo la fatica ahaha

I had an amazing time dancing at Blumenball 2025 with my dance partner, arranged through Yvonne Rueff (Tanzschule Rueff). If anyone is in need of a dance partner for a ball or class, I would highly recommend reaching out to Yvonne. Growing up, I danced a range of styles and eventually became interested in visiting Vienna and ballroom dancing at a ball there. As I was planning my visit, I reached out to various Vienna dance schools and taxi-dancer companies to find an experienced dance partner. Ultimately, I chose to work with Yvonne because she was consistently responsive, clear, and courteous in our communications. Yvonne connected me with my dance partner Michael – a wonderful dancer, strong leader, and kind gentleman. I appreciate everything Michael did to take care of me, not only expertly leading us around the packed dance floors, but also explaining any steps I needed a refresher on, helping me get the right water, helping me understand ball traditions and what the emcees were saying, and more. It was so much fun dancing all types of styles (Viennese Waltz, Boogie/Jive, Cha-cha, Samba, Polka, English Waltz, Foxtrot, Salsa, Line Dance, etc) to a mix of classical and modern music. Thank you Yvonne and Michael for making my first Vienna ball so memorable!

I would give a 10 star review if that was an option but, since it isn't......5 stars it is! I stumbled across Tanzschule Rueff when I was looking for a way to realize my dream of dancing the Viennese waltz - in Vienna. This is not an easy dream to realize when you're a woman of a certain age, you have no dance partner, and you live in North America where the Viennese waltz does not enjoy the same appreciation as it does in Vienna. From my very first contact , I was 100% impressed! ALL the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, patient and kind. Sonia and Stefan provided excellent instruction on the basics and, when I decided to take a couple of additional private classes, Christian was an equally excellent instructor. As for Yvonne - well, she's a guardian angel, but that's a different story...... My recommendation: If you're in Vienna, as a local resident or a tourist, this is a wonderful place to get some dance training. If you're a tourist looking specifically for some Viennese waltz training, a one hour class will give you a good feel for the basics, so you can participate in any of the dance events which may be going on. However, if you are so inclined, a couple of additional classes will give you an extra boost. Well worth the additional cost, in my opinion.

Ich bin seit mehreren Monaten in der Tanzschule Rueff, habe mehrere Kurse absolviert und bin äußerst zufrieden. Kompetente LehrerInnen, sehr schöne Tanzsäle und zentral gelegen. Vor allem das Tanzpartnerservice ist großartig, wenn man als Singledame tanzen lernen möchte. Klare Empfehlung für Rueff!

Ho fatto una lezione di valzer base (era un regalo a sorpresa). Nonostante io sia poco dotato per il ballo l'insegnate è stato super disponibile e simpatico, davvero coinvolgente. Un'ora faticosa ma divertente e indimenticabile. Da italiani abbiamo avuto davvero pochi problemi, parlava inglese perfettamente. Struttura piccoli ma per corsi di coppia o amici è perfetta

Wir haben gestern einen Hop on Walz Kurs gemacht und waren total begeistert, die Schritte wurden sehr gut beigebracht. Ich kann diesen Kurs jedem tanzbegeisterten wärmstens empfehlen. Der Wiener Walzer lebt von den vielen Feinheiten und der Technik, diese sind sehr gut rüber gekommen. Meiner Frau und mir hat auch die sehr lockere und freundliche Atmosphäre gefallen. Wenn wir wieder mal in Wien sind werden wir das noch mal wiederholen. Ein besonderes Highlight unseres Wien Besuchs.
