the whole learning process -from registration to the course until finishing it- was as expected. I´ve enjoyed the classes, the highly participate experience with other students during the class hours and the final assignment. I took the Deutsch C1 level with Frau Mag. Langeder as our teacher.

Die Deutschunterrichte sind gut strukturiert, die Lehrer sind immer gut vorbereitet. Sie sind respektvoll und immer behilflich. Besonders toll finde ich die Online-Option, wenn man mal krank ist und das alles ist kostenlos. Die Online Teilnahme ist in den anderen Schulen extra Gebühr, weshalb ich mich für die Sprachschule Berger entschieden habe.

The German course I took last semester was a deeply disappointing experience . The teacher was unhelpful and often passive-aggressive. Whenever we asked for clarification on grammar, she would dismissively tell us to "Google it at home." As a result, we gained little to no meaningful understanding of the material by the end of the course. To make matters worse, I received a grade lower than expected despite consistently participating in class and completing all assigned tasks. When I inquired about the grade, they sent me a document highlighting two spelling mistakes and stated that they "expected more." This felt particularly frustrating, given the lack of quality teaching throughout the course. How could they hold such high expectations without providing the proper foundation to meet them? In hindsight, I wouldn’t recommend anyone invest their time and money, over €250, on these German courses. It was a waste of resources and effort, leaving me with nothing but disappointment and a sense that my expectations, too, were never met. Upd. Mr. Conti, I believe that a teacher should evaluate how well a student has mastered the material taught in the course. During this course, we did not cover any complex structures or advanced vocabulary. When we asked Frau Langeder to provide us with grammar explanations, she declined. To be fair, over the course of an entire semester, we were taught Konjunktiv once 🙂 While I expected to learn advanced structures, the course primarily consisted of conversational practice. My disappointment stems from two main points: first, I was seeking knowledge that the course failed to provide; and second, it seems inconsistent to demand the use of complex structures that were not taught. Wouldn’t you agree that it is unusual to assess knowledge that was never imparted? If I want an evaluation of my general C1 level, I am more than willing to take an official language certification exam. However, in this case, the assessment should reflect how I engaged with and mastered the material of this specific course, should it not?

Completed A1.1, A1.2 and intense A2.1 courses. Usual courses are good and taught completely in German. Intensive courses are very demanding, so I would not suggest them unless you can devote most of your time completely to learning German for 2-3 weeks, however, it is a good option for those who want to complete a level (half-level) in a short period of time during summer. Location is convenient for those living or working close to Vienna University of Economics and Business, or somewhere on the U2 metro line. Classes are not crowded and well equipped.

Ich habe nun bereits 2 Sprachkurse bei Assumpta Petit Agustí absolviert und kann es nur schwerstens empfehlen. Die Kursleiterin war sehr sympathisch, verständnisvoll und motiviert. Die Atmosphäre angenehm und der Kurs super kurzweilig und lehrreich. Wirklich toll! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als stimmig.

Habe im August 2023 beim WU Business Language Center die ÖSD Prüfung abgelegt. Der Ablauf und die Organisation waren hervorragend. Empfehle!

Der japanisch Kurs macht extrem viel Spaß und das ohne hohen Leistungsdruck. Die Lehrperson ist sehr nett und gibt auch viele Einblicke über Japan selbst, Kultur usw.
