Outstanding Language Course Experience at the University of Vienna I recently completed a German language course at the University of Vienna, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The course was very well structured, combining grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice in a way that was both effective and engaging. What truly made the course exceptional were our teachers, Irene Canada and Mai Ca. Their teaching style was incredibly clear, supportive, and motivating. They managed to create a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere where every student felt comfortable participating, regardless of their level. The teachers were always well-prepared, attentive to our needs, and willing to explain even the most difficult topics with patience and clarity. Thanks to them, I not only improved my language skills significantly but also felt more confident using German in everyday situations. I highly recommend the language courses at the University of Vienna to anyone looking to improve their German – and if you get a chance to learn from Irene Canada and Mai Ca, consider yourself very lucky!

I did the A2.2 course with Frau Canada and it was exceptionally good. She gave plenty of resources and was a really good teacher. The best part was that she made the class fun. If i was to improve something it would be to have more writting homeworks, and reading comprehensions. The classmates were also very nice, some better than A2.2 level, some worse, but the average was highly motivated and with strong German (other better at writing, others at speaking...)

Pessima esperienza accademica!

In my opinion, this is one of the best institutions for language courses in Vienna. If you want to improve your German skills, this is definitely the right place to enroll!

Dear future students of Sprachenzentrum, You are lucky because you will be teaching by experienced teachers. My teacher was Gerlinde Farkas. Every lesson was well prepared, structured and filled with educational videos and activities to help us to learn quickly in an interesting way. What I liked also that, we started the day from the brainstorm, which helped us to practice speaking. I was satisfied that in front of me all three weeks was such a tolerant and respectful Teacher. All the best to you. You are in the right place Diana Pilip

I recently completed the intensive A1.2 course with instructors Pia Weninger and Klara Urrea-Hammerschmied. Both teachers are knowledgeable about the German language and were able to effectively communicate important concepts in grammar, listening, speaking, and writing to our class. Pia especially is an engaging teacher who helped me grow in confidence with speaking. I feel very well prepared for A2.1 German. As with every language class, this intensive format may work better for some students than others. When the describe it as intensive, they're not kidding. You will learn new material every day and be expected to study at home, but if you know this in advance and are prepared to put in work, I think you will enjoy the course and come away having learned a lot.

On May 13th, I received an email confirming my teacher and class schedule for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then, on July 14th, I suddenly got an email saying the course had been changed – to that very day (July 14th), as well as Mondays and Wednesdays. I went to speak directly with the person in charge and asked why this was handled so unprofessionally. I explained that all my work is scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays – so what are you going to do about it? She solved the issue and told me the change was because I had requested a specific teacher. But I don’t even know the teacher she mentioned, and I never received any confirmation about that. There was no apology. Not even the slightest "sorry." Thank you – not just for teaching me German, but for teaching me how to be indifferent and emotionally detached. Your arrogance only motivates me more to learn German well – so that I can help others like me who feel helpless. (When I left the supervisor's office, I expressed my thanks and offered a handshake — not because I forgave you, but because I am kind and respectful by nature. Your arrogance and indifference don't deserve my kindness.)
